We're a freehouse in the heart of Hertfordshire countryside, serving great drinks poured right, fair prices, and what we reckon is the best pub garden view in Herts. No frills, no pretence, just done properly.

Graze with us Thursday to Saturday, noon to 6pm. Ploughman's boards and charcuterie, sourdough toasties with slow-cooked beef brisket, loaded fries, all sourced local on sustainable plates. Pair it with a cask ale that's kept in exemplary order.

Host your wedding, birthday, corporate do, or private event in The Ploughman Room. Up to 200 guests. Music, catering, countryside setting. The kind of space that makes moments stick.
